    Buy Spanish

It's the sign of the times to have a supposedly learned and intelligent minister of the socialist government tell the public to buy Spanish products instead of, well, products from somewhere else.
Anybody sensible will tell you that it's stupid. First, it will not produce any short or long-term benefit. But then, it's almost impossible to buy Spanish products (or products from anywhere else, for that matter). Nowadays the value involved in any product goes in many different paths; it takes into account the capital, the raw goods, the transportation, and even the publicity involved in it. It would be difficult to find a single product that is "made" in a single place if it has so much as been transported from a place to another, since transportation is made using foreign "made" products.

It does not make it any more intelligent. Even if the Americans do build and manufacture more things that we do.
