GECCO: Finding twin souls in Technorati

We all got between yesterday and today the result of reviews for the GECCO conference. I participated in 5 submission, of which 2 were altogether rejected, 2 accepted as full papers, and 1 accepted as poster. Not a bad average. So I set out to find other twin souls in Technorati that were sharing their glee about having a paper accepted. And I found quite a few: this one says something about best paper award (probably a nomination), Praveen Koduru rants against Perl and had his 4 papers accepted, icklejuwie a single paper, and she suceeded, T. S. Yo too, and dana1witch had one paper accepted as poster. Which means that GECCO will be well covered by bloggers. Anyone up for evolutionary Blog & Beers in London?

Congratulations on acceptance of your papers. I recently came across this blog entry which says in the AI/Machine learning area, GECCO has a huge readership impact factor.

I was planning on attending the conference, but due to some scheduling conflicts I had to drop the idea. I am quite interested in reading blogs that provide updated feeds. Let me know if you find someone interested in blogging about the conference. I know people have done this sort of thing for AAAI before.
