    GIs feeling the pinch

    You probably remember that famous statement you go to war the army you've got..., but the problem is, it's not got enough. Time informs that the Army is fighting not only in wars, but also for an increased budget:
    The crunch's cost is evident at installations like the Red River Army Depot in Texas, where hundreds of humvees sit in disrepair

    The definition of "defeat" is when an Army is no longer able to fight properly, it's being said that cuts are hampering readiness and modernization. How far away from defeat is the US Army?
