    A bit of "Cars" trivia

    I instantly recognized the Tepee motel featured in Cars as something I had seen along Route 66, and close to the border between AZ and NM. I had to dig it up a little, but I finally found it: it's called the Wigwam motel, and it's in Holbrook, Arizona. Actually, the movie was slated to be called "Route 66" originally, but then changed its name to the one it's got now. And the "Radiator Springs" it features is supposed to be based on Amboy, California. Except for the tepees, of course.
