    Mercenaries at home

    What would happen if any country in the world used mercenaries as police force?
    Mirth and mayhem, probably. At least, any european nation I would think of would shiver at the mere thought of doing that.But I guess that after you use elite forces like the Marines and the 82 Airborne, and you run out of them, using mercenaries is no big deal. Even if they are foreign mercenaries.
