    Obscure "Sin City" movie trivia

I just went and watch Sin City, and having read most, if not all, graphic novels in the series, noted a few bits of trivia that you might not have. Here they are:
    • Frank Miller is quite fond of recycling; he uses things from other graphic novels in each one. For instance, one of the mafia thugs, the one with the nazi cross tatooed in the head, is very similar to Mutants in The Dark Knight Returns
    • One of the cars used in the original comic is a Tucker Torpedo (to tell you the truth, I don't remember if it was used in the graphic novels that made it into this film). There are also vintage Mustangs. However, most cars in the movie are GM's Chevrolets, one of them possibly a Chevrolet Bel Air
    • Becky, the one that weasels on the old city girls, wears an earring with the Give Me Liberty free-love-plus-star logo

    All in all, great movie.

Have you ever met a graphic novel - a collection of stories? Personally, I am not, and I liked it! Here we have some sketches from the life of the City of Sins - small stories that lift the veil of a particular story, and then also quickly close the curtain. Great! Even the style of these "stories" is different, somewhere there are colored elements, and somewhere the text is decorated in a completely different way. In general, great! P.S. It’s not the first time that Miller has come across a couple of Mr. Shlabba’s and Mr. Klamp’s killers, and I immediately drew a parallel with Mr. Krupp and Mr. Waldemar from Geiman’s Nikogda ... It’s interesting who borrowed the idea from someone?)
