    What are they afraid of?

US officials are discussing the possibility of postponing elections day (via Blogdex and Pensamientos radicalmente eclécticos -in Spanish-), something that not even Lincold did during the civil war.
Ah, and BTW, something that a certain country that was called a coward by certain US politicians didn't do either
What are they afraid of, exactly? Losing the elections? Isn't that what democracy is all about?

Yeah, I also wrote about it a couple of days ago. You can also take both World Wars as valid examples. Or the 50's nuclear paranoia.

Why now? Do they think the citizenship needs some extra time to freeze its feelings after a major attack? Oh, man.

Watthew Yglesias, among others, has more on this.

It is the same I thought when I heard about this. Who are the cowards?

    Who is changing the agenda?

Kevin Drum's reasons not to be worried about rescheduling the election: it's just impossible. Period.

This is really a shame thing to postpone the elections. As per the essay have review, many officials are breaking their promises after the elections. People should choose a good persons to elect them.
